Smoke-free Fall Activities

by | Oct 7, 2021

This summer brought the heat and plenty of opportunities for fun in the sun. As fall rolls in, it’s time to start planning for fun-filled, smoke-free activities for the chillier weather. Thankfully, Cincinnati has plenty of fall happenings to keep you busy! Here are a few of our favorites.

Pumpkins, Apples and Corn Mazes

There are tons of farms around Greater Cincinnati that offer the opportunity to grab seasonal treats and join in other fun fall activities. Take advantage by grabbing your kids, grandchildren or friends and heading out to the closest apple orchardcorn mazepumpkin patch. Some even offer petting zoos!

Hiking Trails

Fall can be the perfect time to enjoy Cincinnati’s many park trails. Embrace the cooler temperatures by going for a walk, run or bike ride (many of them have options for you to rent bikes right on the trail). The Quit Culture team loves Theodore M. Berry Park, located right downtown, but there are plenty to choose from.

Take a Class at the Library

The public libraries in Cincinnati offer many, many, many resources, including free classes for all ages. They have something for everyone—from story time for the kids and STEM classes for teens to vision board classes for adults. They’re a great way to try (and learn) something new!

Movie Night at Home

Create your own movie experience right in the comfort of your own home. Grab your favorite snacks and blanket and check out one of these Black movies on Netflix. Or, if you want a movie that’s a little more family-focused, The Voice of Black Cincinnati has a list of options for you and your kids.

If you’re ready to quit smoking, we’ve got you! To get started, join Quit Culture’s private Facebook group, sign up for the Smoke Break Challenge and download our free mobile app.
